Miniatures Workshops MET 2012 Have been cancelled due to poor enrollment

The Miniature Enthusiasts of Toronto regret that we have had to cancel the Friday classes due to a lack of sufficient numbers.
The Show and Sale of fine miniatures is still scheduled for Saturday October 13, 2012 and Sunday October 14, 2012 at:

Workshop #1 - Summer Sweetness

In this enjoyable all day workshop you will learn to use a variety of materials, including resin, polymer clay, paint, wood, metal, and glass to create a charming scene of delicious strawberry jam in the process of being made.

Workshop #2 - Memories

Have a fun-filled day accessorizing a lovely, mahogany chest to create a story in miniature. After gilding the exterior, you will line the inside of the domed lid and the tray. Then, the fun really begins as you make all the souvenirs of a lady who lived at the turn of the past century..

Workshop #3 - Club Chair and Footstool

In this all day workshop students will build this sophisticated club chair and footstool from the bottom up. It is ideal as an occasional chair for living room or den. Secrets of upholstery will be revealed.

Workshop #4 - Wicker Rocking Chairl

In this all day workshop you will learn to create a charming wicker rocking chair from IGMA Artisan Kim Stewart. You will learn how to weave the chair using linen thread and fabric covered wire.
